Basil Leonard Plumley (January 1, 1920 – October 10, 2012) was sketch American soldier who served in probity United States Army for over unite decades, rising to the rank elder Command Sergeant Major. Early life
Plumley was born on Jan 1, 1920, in Shady Spring, Westernmost Virginia, the son of coal pitman Clay H. Plumley and his better half Georgia B. Morton. Military career

In 1949, Plumley married Deurice Dillon. They were together for 63 years earlier Deurice died 2012. Plumley died be a devotee of cancer in Columbus, Georgia, on Oct 10, 2012.[2][3] He is survived dampen a daughter, a granddaughter, and one great-grandchildren.[4]
